(August 31, 2020) - Advex Corporation is a provider of services that are recognized as essential critical infrastructure pursuant to the United States Department of Homeland Security's Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) and therefore will continue to maintain operations. Based on the announcement from CISA, Advex will maintain daily operations unless specifically directed by Virginia state officials to close. In the event of closure, we will notify all our customers within two business days.
We will continue to assess new developments and comply with all Federal, State and local regulations. To date, Advex has no employee that has tested positive for COVID-19. The safety of our employees and the needs of our customers are paramount as we strive to support our business community from a safe and healthy operating environment. We are taking measures in line with OSHA/CDC guidance to disinfect our facility daily.
As of March 30th, we have experienced minimal impacts from our supply chain. Based on our survey of suppliers we anticipate delays mainly caused by small increases in turnaround times within the shipping industry. Advex will notify any customer affected by a COVID-19 related delay prior to the contract delivery date.
Please note that based on current guidance from CDC, Advex is currently not accepting visitors at our facility except for shipping and receiving. Our shipping and receiving area has specific restrictions in place to prevent accidental exposure to our employees. Please contact Kirk Mayer at 757-865-0920 X 127 or Kmayer@advex.net prior to arrival. Advex personnel are available to participate in teleconferences as needed to support our customers.
If you have any questions on this matter please email Denise Topping at Dtopping@Advex.net or call her at 757-865-0920 X 153.
